Before and After: Deck Chairs

Do you remember these chairs I found on the curb?

Well after a few coats of spray paint (the kind made for plastic), here is what they look like now....

Stay tuned for the rest of the deck makeover!

P.S. The table was $7 at Target...it got a few coats of spray paint too!

  4. You did a GREAT job!! I've used the plastic spray paint before, but didn't have results like yours. Job well done. :) I'm visiting from Rhoda's party-hope you'll stop by my blog too. :)

  5. Very nice work. They look like the real thing rather than plastic, as they did when they were green.

  6. They look a million times better! You've just inspired me to pickup some plastic spray paint for my own hunter green deck chairs ... why do they make them that color, anyway? ;)

  10. Great makeover! We just bought a set of these chairs and I love knowing that when they're fading I can give them an easy refresh, instead of having to replace!

  11. Excellent! I put my green chairs by the road because they had become faded and ugly...If only I had tried painting them, but I don't think that plastic fusion paint was readily available at the time. Now, wouldn't they be cute with some hand painting done on the backs or arms? Hmmm, I think I'll put my Mom onto the idea.
    Thanks for sharing.

  13. I am glad you all like them as much as we do! We have been spending a lot more time on the deck.

Anita - I wanted them to be really white so we used 2 cans on each chair. Hope that helps!
